Aeson links gym-goers to advanced massage devices and recovery treatments at participating gyms and fitness centres. Users buy digital credit in the app, find a device nearby, then pay only for the time they use, with every session logged in their treatment history.

About the project

The problem, the people, the product.

What it does

A mobile companion for Aeson recovery devices: buy credit, find a nearby device, book a session and start the device from your phone.

Who it serves

Gym-goers recovering after a workout, and anyone looking for a new way to relax and recharge, at gyms that host Aeson devices.

The problem

Recovery treatments usually mean fixed-price appointments and staff involvement. Aeson needed a self-serve flow where people pay only for the time they use, with clear pricing for every session.

My contribution

Built the React Native front end across onboarding, wallet and payments, device discovery, session booking and treatment history.

Implementation highlights

Wallet top-ups with stepped amounts, bundle discounts and a bottom-sheet picker for saved payment cards.

Location permission is explained before it is requested, then used only while the app is open to rank nearby devices by distance and show them on a map.

QR codes at participating gyms open the device directly, and a guided activation flow wakes it and loads its treatment options.

Session lengths are priced by the minute against the live wallet balance, with in-context guidance on how long to book.

Treatment summaries show frequency, duration and intensity for every session.
